The Swiss make best watches, some say best chocolate (ask Belgians) and cheese (ask French) and apparently best metal music. For the last one don't ask anyone, just listen to this album. From start to end one beautiful, heavy, progressive piece of music. Maciej Starzyk

Emptiness fills The Void is an onslaught of relentless eargasm-inducing riffs. Stortregn manages to combine elements of black, progressive, thrash, and melodic death into a crushing, yet highly accessible extreme metal sound. The harmonic guitars often come in just at the right time to scratch that itch, taking the listener’s already-heightened level of excitement to stratospheric heights. Recommended for all metalheads. This could serve as a gateway into extreme metal as well.

Do not let the somewhat uninspiring cover fool you! this is some killer black / death metal. The riffs are amazing, as are the vocals. Getting the Non Serviam Records discography is one of the best things I have done this year! bmurator
